A few more updates are given below:
- The IIT JAM 2026 exam for admission to the MSc course is scheduled for Feb 15, 2026.
- The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for admission to BE/BTech courses.
- The GATE 2026 registrations are now over for admission to Ph.D. and ME/Mtech course. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 registration process for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses is expected to start from Oct 2025 onwards. For session 1, the JEE Main 2026 exam will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.

NIT Puducherry was established by the Government of India in 2010 and is one of the 10 new NITs in the Union Territory of Puducherry and among the various NITs acknowledged as an Institute of National Importance by the GoI. NIT Karaikal offers BTech and MTech as flagship courses. NITPY has 10 departments, and through these departments, the university offers UG, PG, PhD, and several other programmes in Engineering, Technology, Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
