Prakasam Engineering College (PEC) is worth the praise mostly in the region because of its strong engineering emphasis and a healthy academic atmosphere. Although the college does not have the same pan-India appeal as some of the best engineering colleges in India, it is still quite a popular option among the students in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Yes, one can get admission to B.E/B.Tech at Prakasam Engineering College through lateral entry. The condition is one must pass a 3-year Diploma programme or some other equivalent programme in the relevant field with a minimum of 45%.
