NIPER Hyderabad has been ranked 6th under Pharmacy Category by NIRF India rankings 2021 by MoE, Government of India. It is one of the most prestigious and the finest "Institutes of National Importance" in Pharmaceutical Education and Research in India. In total, there are 175 seats for all courses, which includes M.S. (Pharm.), M.Tech. (Pharm.), M.B.A. (Pharm.). NIPER Hyderabad has consistently produced excellent results and placements and its alumni can be found in distinguished organizations in India and overseas. Admission to NIPER Hyderabad courses are entrance-based. Candidates are required to meet the course-specific eligibility criteria and then appear for the NIPER JEE exam to secure admission at NIPER JEE.

In 2023, the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ahmedabad achieved the 13th position in the Pharmacy category as per the NIRF ranking. In 2021, the institute was ranked among the top 10 pharmacy institutes in India by NIRF. The institute has been categorized as a Band-Performer under the Institute of National Importance and Central Universities/CFTIs (Technical) as per ARIIA-2021 released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The NIPER Ahmedabad campus at Gandhinagar is equipped with a modern research facility, including an animal house and a canteen. The institute currently offers courses in eight different specializations: Biotechnology, Medicinal Chemistry, Medical Devices, Natural Products, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Management, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Analysis.

The placement rate at NIPER Ahmedabad was 93.65% in the year 2023. A total of 151 students were in the batch out of which 126 of them got placed and 25 of the students opted for higher studies. Yes, NIPER Ahmedabad provides financial assistance to the students of all courses, except MBA. All the candidates sponsored by Govt. Departments, Research and Development Organization, Public Sector undertaking/ Reputed Private Pharmaceutical Enterprises] will be provided with a stipend of INR12,400 per month subject to obtaining of minimum CGPA of 6.00 in each semester. If the candidates fail to obtain 6.0 CGPA, their stipend will be with held and till he/she obtains a 6.0 CGPS.

Apart from this, the college will also provide financial assistance of INR 12,400 per month to the top 3 students of MBA Pharma programme. The assistance will be provided to students during second, third and fourth semesters.

The total fees for MBA at NIPER Ahmedabad for general category is INR 277,284 and INR 73,706 for reserved category. The aforementioned amounts were for the year 2022, the official website of NIPER Ahmedabad has not mentioned the fee amount for the current year. MBA at NIPER Ahmedabad is a two-year, full-time programme, spread across four semesters. The programme is offered in specialisation with Pharmaceutical Management. The total fees for the programme is inclusive of multiple components that are required to be paid either one time or in each semesters. Some of the these components are tution fees, admission fees, library fees, etc. and the students are required to pay the total fee in four installments.
