Rankwise ( nirf b school ranking) LM Thapar is higher. Chitkara an emerging b school. For sales and marketing Chitkara could be a good choice in context of ROI.

Yes, you can opt for MBA with any specialization provided by the institution you choose. Many of the colleges, offer aspirants to qualify their own entrance examinations. This is the question which comes in mind of every MBA aspirant. See, You should go for MBA or PGDM depends on one more aspect, as one can directly tell you that yes PGDM has more advanced syllabus in compared with MBA for so and so reason, which I don't deny at all, but you need to consider the other side also. Like for example it also depends on the institution you select, if I got selected in IIM for MBA course (just saying) and also I got offer letter for PGDM from any other renowned institute then definitely I will prefer IIM MBA and not PGDM.
