The syllabus is not exactly the same for all three entrance tests. Generally, the common preparation areas are English, Mathematics or Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness, but the weightage and subjects can vary by course and university. LPU's entrance test also follows the specific requirements of the programme, so checking the latest syllabus before preparing is important. For common preparation, focus on these four areas and practise basic concepts, reasoning questions and current affairs.

Honestly, for BTech CSE I'd pick Thapar. It has a stronger engineering reputation, better placement opportunities and a stronger peer group overall. Chitkara is decent too, but if you have both options, I'd go with Thapar.

If you have CSE at both, I'd pick Thapar. Chitkara is a decent option, especially if fees are a big factor, but Thapar has the stronger engineering reputation and overall peer group. If the fee difference isn't a major issue for you, I'd go with Thapar.
