Indeed, application to B.Tech programs at SVNIT Surat is online so the entire application can take place on the internet. Your rank in JEE Main is the leading criteria in gaining admission but, then, you can attend the centralised JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. You must fill in JEE Main first, then sign up on the JoSAA portal; fill in your preference (which entails SVNIT Surat), and then you must assume rounds of online seat allocation. Even the payments of associated fees and uploading of documents in the counselling process are all done through the internet.

There is quite many companies that visits campus such as Wonder Cement, TCS, Crest Infosystems, Macleods Pharmaceutical, Adani Port, NPCIL, DB Engineers, Logicwind and more. IT streams got more software companies too this year. For other specialisations too, the university is bringing more companies.
