To get admission to Linkoping University MS in Computer Science program, international students have to meet the below requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen in a relevant discipline
- At least 24 ECTS credits in mathematics/applied mathematics and/or application of mathematics relevant for the programme including courses in discrete mathematics, linear algebra and calculus.
- English corresponding to the level of English in Swedish upper secondary education (English 6). Exemption from Swedish.

For admission in undergraduate programs, the general entry requirement for English studies equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. For admission in graduate programs, the requirement is also the equivalent of the Swedish upper secondary course English 6 and for some master's level courses and programs English 5 or English 7 is the requirement. The below table includes the English language test and their minimum requirements for admission at Linkoping:
