Yes, admission to the postgraduate-level course is based on a common entrance exam conducted by the university. It is conducted by CSSAC. The minimum eligibility criteria for getting a seat in central university of kerala is to secure 50% marks in 12 class from a recognised board of education and a minimum of 45% marks for ST/SC students.
