The Central University of Kerala offers an MBA course, and the cutoff for admission is based on the CUET UG exam. For the academic year 2022, the expected minimum cutoff percentile for general category students is 30, while for OBC and SC categories, it is 10. For ST, EWS, and PWD categories, the expected cutoff percentile is 20, 50, and 45, respectively. The cutoff for the MBA course in 2021 was 34 percentile for general category students, 15 percentile for OBC, 13 percentile for SC, 21 percentile for ST, 48 percentile for EWS, and 58 percentile for PWD. The cutoff for the MBA course in 2023 is yet to be announced.

The MSc placements at the Central University of Kerala seem to be promising. Most of the students got placed with very good salary packages, and the university has a distinct placement cell that offers placements and internship opportunities to students. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students during the 2022 placements was INR 4.80 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The placement statistics for the academic years show a good number of students placed and a decent median salary offered. The university also conducts job fairs and trains and grooms students for their professional careers.

The Central University of Kerala offers better placements than Utkal University. The Central University of Kerala has a placement cell that offers placements and internship opportunities to students, with a median salary of Rs 4.78 Lacs and a high placement rate. On the other hand, Utkal University's placement record is not as strong, with only a few students getting placed and limited information available about the median salary or placement rate. Therefore, based on the available information, the Central University of Kerala appears to have better placement opportunities compared to Utkal University

Some of the top companies that have recruited from the university include IBM. The university offers placements and internship opportunities to its students, and the placement cell organizes various guest lectures, training programs, and sessions to make the students employable. The Department of Management Studies of the university is also currently inviting companies to conduct campus drives and recruit talented students for various job roles.
