To get into BTech at GBPUAT, you need a good JEE Main rank. They prioritize rank over 10+2 marks (considered for tie-breakers).
Selection Process:
- Apply and score well on JEE Main.
- Register for state counseling (Uttarakhand Technical University).
- 85% seats for Uttarakhand, 15% All India.
Additional Notes:
- Cut-off rank varies year-to-year.
- Agricultural Engineering (All India) needs a separate ICAR exam.

Patnanagar University conducts GBPUAT entrance exam for admission to BSc (Hons) courses. The university also accepts ICAR AIEEA for Agriculture courses. Once the selection process is over for BSc, the university conducts counselling round. The number of counselling rounds will depend on the vacancy of seats.
