Okay, so when it comes to placements, since the location of the college is as such that it's quite hard for companies to come as compared to colleges that are located in the hub of techno cities like Bangalore etc. , but the good thing is that college environment does provide you with enough education guidance that you'll be able to qualify exams like GATE etc. And many have done it, and pursuing higher education in IITs or abroad.

The placements of COT are decent Right now.
I won't say very good but yes Good enough to give every student the chance to get selected in Campus placements.
If you are good in studies and have the zeal to do it you will make it.
There is no branch in Pantnagar for which Companies don't come for Placement.
Agricultural Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Students Get the highest Packages every Year in Placements.
Companies like Hero , John Deere , Mahindra&Mahindra , Escorts etc come for their Placements.
Students of Computer Engineering , IT and ECE mostly end up in TCS.
A few companies come for EE or They also get their chance in TCS.
