- The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.
- The CMAT 2026 exam date for admission to MBA/PGDM/MMS courses is Jan 25, 2026, and the result can be expected in Feb 2026.

National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is also known as NIT Hamirpur. NITH was established in 1986 as one of the thirty-one NITs of the country. NIT Hamirpur was initially set up as a Regional Engineering College (REC) in 1986, with only two departments - Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering compared to 13 departments at present. Difficulty level of MAT exam is lower than other MBA entrance exams. The question paper is usually of easy to moderate difficulty level. The exam is now held for 120 minutes. There are now 150 questions in the exam paper. There is no sectional time limit in MAT which allows the candidate to plan a strategy according to their strengths and weaknesses.
