CGPA is calculated at ICFAI Business School Bangalore by dividing the sum of the grade points obtained in all courses by the total number of credits for all courses i.e.

CGPA = Sum of Grade Points Obtained/ Total Sum of Maximum Grade Points.

The grade point is calculated by multiplying the grade obtained in each course by the credit value of the course.

Whereas credits are subject based for example 3,5,2, etc. for different subjects.

And grade is calculated using marks bracket

GrademarksGrade points
A+95-10010
A90-949
B+85-898
B80-847
C+75-796
C70-745
D60-694
E0-590

Failing in the internal exams at ICFAI Business School Bangalore can impact a student's academic progress and may require them to repeat the course. It's important to study hard and prepare for the exams to avoid this outcome.

In case a student fails to pass the internal examinations at an ICFAI Business School in Bangalore, they shall be required to appear for that examination. To do so, the student must submit an application and pay a fee for retest which is subject dependent In this way students have another shot at passing the test and making progress in their studies.

The formula for students enrolled in the 4-point credit system is CGPA*18+30=Equivalent percentage.
For example, the equivalent percentage is 3.00*18+30=74% if the CGPA is 3.00.The formula for students using the 10-point grading scale is CGPA*9.3=Equivalent percentage.
For instance, the equivalent percentage is 9.00*9.3=83.7% if the CGPA is 9.00.
