No, it is not possible to even get a seat at VIT, Vellore or any of the campuses (except Bhopal) with this rank. You may be called for counselling but you can just book a seat under category 5 only.
So, it is impossible to get a seat.

VIT University is a good college in terms of faculty, Infrastructure an placements. But, some say that VIT, Vellore is not that good for hostel students as there exists some bad behaviors but I'm not sure about that.
For girls, these rumors are to be believed. So, you may refer some alumni over there but Chennai campus is better only.

You can prefer KIIT university to VIT Amaravathi and Bhopal campuses as, they are new campuses an there is no clear information regarding their information and placements.
So, KIIT University will be a better choice. If you get Chennai and Vellore campuses, then go for it.

At BITS Pilani, you have provision to choose electives means that if you have got chemical or civil but you wanted mechanical then you can choose mechanical engineering as one of the electives. Similarly, you can choose 3-5 electives in engineering branches.
But in VIT, Vellore, there is no such provision. So, if you are interest in CSE alone, then go for VIT, Vellore CSE.
