Since you scored really well in the VITEEE exam, you will easily get ECE branch in VIT, Vellore.

DTU is not private but a government college. As a SC student, you can only get admission to DTU having rank up to 2 lacs in JEE Mains.

Marks required to be eligible for these is 60% but some colleges require only 50%. It may be 5% low for SC/ST.
So, try to get a minimum score of 60%.

According to the NIRF ranking, VIT secured the 13th position among IITs, NITs and all reputed colleges of India. So, if you need a good exposure and better placements go for VIT.

VIT is one of the best private engineering colleges in India, as per NIRF rankings as it bags 13th in All India Position among IITs, NITs and several reputed engineering colleges of India. If you wrote the exam, you may get any of the campuses of VIT, and for management quota, you need to talk to the VIT officials.

BITS Pilani and VIT University does not have any SC ST quota. DTU is Government University and GOI reservation policy is applicable to DTU.

BITS, Pilani and VIT, Vellore are the top private college of India. Since last year BITS, Pilani is one of the top 10 good colleges of India for B.Tech, but this year BITS, Pilani has been ranked 16th amongst all the colleges of India and VIT, Vellore has been ranked 13th according to the rank given by MHRD.

Both the universities are equally good in terms of exposure, job opportunity and quality of education. But VIT is preferable due to its better ranking and flexible curriculum. You will also get more active and result oriented SAE clubs over there.

Its difficult to compare, both are private deemed universities, but VIT has years of service and reputation behind while SRM is a relatively new generation private deemed university.
