As per your marks in JEE Mains, you will get good branches in top NITs, however admission in Jadavpur University and VJTI is done via WBJEE and MHCET respectively not via JEE Mains.

Placement in Asansol Engineering College is one of the best. Various MNC Like TCS, CTS, Accenture are one of the major recruiters.Apart from software companies core companies like Tata Motors,BOC, Tata Power also are involved in placements. Packages of TCS and CTS vary around 3.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs P.a. Also the core companies provide package around 2.5k to 3k.

IIT-Bhubaneswar is a new IIT, whereas, Jadavpur is an old established university with excellent track records in academics and campus placement, therefore, it is recommended that you opt for Jadavpur University over IIT-Bhubaneswar.

Yeah, your choices is good, your can get the admission because of their good reputation ranking placement academic infrastructure, faculty, campus environment and hostel.

As it is a govt. college, you should definitely go for it.
