There are numerous ways to prepare for an interview and crack it. The three most effective parameters are mentioned below:
- Confidence- This creates the first impression that will help in further communication
- Communication Skills- The interviewer looks for a candidate who can put his/ her points with clarity and precision. Even after having sound technical skills, poor communication skills can create a negative impact.
- Knowledge- Regularly go through newspapers and social media tools to stay updated with current affairs.

1) Prelims
2)Mains
3) Interview
In Prelims you just need to score the cutoff marks.
Coming to the mains and interview someone is required to score here only.
UPSC has nothing to do with stream but someone from commerce has strong basis of finance can choose optional accordingly but I have people take political science. Geography etc has option as they are also present in Prelims and mains you just need some expertise in it.

don't EXPECT - Don't expect to get 100 in a subject, I never expected. Just prepare well. Don't PRESSURIZE - Don't pressurize yourself that I have to get 95% this that. NO just give your best
ATTEMPT ALL QUESTIONS -Even if you don't know a question please attempt it you never know there might be grace marks. ATTEMPT IN SEQUENCE- this makes the paper look presentable and easy for examiner to check it.

I am sharing few points which you must keep in mind before starting the preparation. Analyze the past year papers it gives you the idea what type of questions are going to be asked and from a single topic, which sections are important. Indulge yourself in a lot of practice. Also go utilize the maximum content which you can avail for free. Keep on practicing UGC NET Commerce https://bit.ly/2Bs9VLn mock tests and illustrations and back questions given in the reference books. More than anything do not lessen your efforts no matter what. Check yourself which areas are weak and if they ae very important, pay extra heed to it
