The UI/UX Design duration in India differs on the basis of the course level at which you're planning to pursue the course. The UG UI UX Design courses are usually 3 to 4 years long, while for PG courses, you need to invest at least 2 years at college. A PhD in UI & UX Design will take you around 3 to 5 years to complete.

Further for diploma and certification UI/UX Design courses, the duration can range from 1 month to 2 years, based on the course type, course focus and the college.

The time that is required to prepare for the UI/UX Design entrance exams cannot be said with any certainty because it differs based on the specific exam that you're preparing for. But in general, you need at least 4 to 6 months to cover the entire exam syllabus, have a look at previous year question papers, practice mock tests, and revise the tough and important topics in the last month.

Hope this helps!!!

Yes, there are a multitude of benefits of solving previous years' question papers and sample papers. For one, they will help the candidate get an idea of the types of questions asked, difficulty level, weightage, etc. This exercise of solving a sample paper is a must for NID candidates. Past years' question papers for the NID entrance exam also help candidates in identifying important topics, resulting in aspirants securing higher marks in this design entrance test.
