You need to enroll in icsi for company secretary course
it has 3 levels like foundation executive and professional
after 12th you can join foundation
If you have already done graduation then you can directly go for executive
there is also 1yr/2 yr /3yr training depending upon when you take it
its your choice
For eg if you pass professional then you need 1 year training

CS can be done after 12th which is ideal to save time
After you pass 12th you can appear for CS foundation
After passing CS foundation you can appear for CS Executive exam after gap of 9 months of passing CS foundation
BCom can be done side by side alongwith CS
Ideally when you'll be in 1st year bcom you should go for Foundation and pass the same
In 2nd year BCom you can go for executive
There is also training of 2 years after you pass CS executive you can start training while in 3rd year bcom and then Give CS Final exam
Join a college where they will allow you to take holidays for studying CS

Hi Nayan, depends where you want to go. CS from India alone has very little value in US even though you qualify to get a job anywhere in the world. A bachelor degree in business or an MBA will help. You may find number of opportunities in London, UK as there is a collaboration with ICSI and ICAI - UK. Hope it helps.

CS is sufficient enough as it is tough to study and has huge scope ever since passing of companies act 2013
Doing law will also help since you will have dual advantage
CS will help in internal law of company and Law degree will help in external law of the company therefore company could hire you for both
Hence law is more beneficial
Doing Bcom is easier than law and hence in Bcom if you dont attend college you can pass Bcom easily
You can choose any depending upon your will and strength

Company Secretary is very niche Professional course. Number of company Secretary employed by each enterprise are small in number. Yes there is only one CS in a company but all large firms employ support executive to CS who are also qualified CS with lesser experience. It is a demanding, well paying and respected profession.
