The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is not compulsory for Company Secretary (CS) courses in India. The CS Executive Programme requires the CSEET, with exemptions for graduates and postgraduates. CUET is for university admissions, while CS is a professional course offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Therefore, focusing on preparing for and passing the CSEET is recommended.
