Yes, you can shift your branch in engineering for M. Tech after doing B. Tech. This is sometimes referred to as “branch switching”.
In India, many universities and institutes allow students to pursue M. Tech in a different branch than their B. Tech,If they meet certain conditions:
1. Eligibility criteria: Ensure passing standard academic requirements for M. Tech, for instance,; GATE Score; Work experience; or etc.

Although GVPCE is a reputable school, there is fierce competition for popular programs like CSE (AI & ML). Candidates with significantly higher ranks often less than 10,000 usually get the first pick in these courses. There may be opportunities in less desirable branches or management quota seats, though.
