It is less value than B.Ed . The fees also lesser than B.Ed

The SCERT in Assam is responsible for conducting D. El. Ed. Courses to groom prospective teachers. The following are NCTE-recognised teacher education institutions in Lakhimpur, Assam:
1. District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Lakhimpur (Azad): The intake for the D. El. Ed. Course is 100.
2. Dhakuakhana Normal School: The intake capacity for the D. El. Ed. Course is 50.
3. Basic Training Center, Azad: Its intake is also 50 students per batch. To gain admission to these government-recognised institutions, you must take the SCERT Pre-Entry Test.

Hello in India the Diploma holders of engineering branch can think of doing graduation in either engineering or in any other subject. However there is no system of advanced Diploma for normal Diploma holders. In India advanced Diploma can be done by students who are already graduates and wish to acquire knowledge in certain subjects. Thete are very large number of advanced diploma courses that are offeted by almost all universities. You can , as sample download brochure of IGNOU, to know details .

Diploma in Elementary Education is basically a 2-year full time course which is mandatory to become a teacher for primary and secondary schools i.e., classes 6-10. The minimum eligibility to fill the form for this course is that you need to be 12th pass out from a recognised board or school.

BCA candidates are eligible for the TET entrance exam. Those candidates who have completed graduation degree with above 50% marks from a recognised university are eligible for TET exam. B.Ed degree is essential for TET exam. Your age should be in between 18 to 40 years. TET Eligibility:
-You must have passed graduation with 2 year Diploma In elementary education or B.Ed course. - You must have passed senior secondary with 4 year Bachelor in elementary education.
