Diploma in Labour Welfare is a one year Diploma course which focuses on protecting labour and ensuring their fair, healthy and safe work environment leading to increased productivity. The subject which is to be taught are laws related to wages and their fixation, laws related to conditions of work, laws related to industrial relations and laws related to social security and legislation.

Eligibility criteria for the B.Ed. course: Students with at least 50 percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree / the master's degree in Science, social sciences, or humanities, or a Bachelor in engineering or technology with specialisation in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with 55 percent marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. programme. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. ) is an undergraduate professional degree. However, D. El. Ed. is a Diploma-level course. Therefore, you can pursue both courses together when you need to pursue one of them in distance mode. With the B.Ed. degree, you will be eligible to teach students up to the senior secondary level. On the other hand, with the D. El. Ed. course, you will be eligible to teach primary-level students.
