Eligibility:
This course is offered in both undergraduate as well as post graduate degrees. For UG, you need to have at least 60% in 10+2 or equivalent. One may also need to clear the entrance tests for some universities.
For PG programs, the admission is mostly based on entrance exams only.

One can work as Data scientist, Big data consultant, Data center engineer, Analyst, Big data architect etc.
There are many companies that hire Big data and analytics professionals. Some of the top companies are Amazon.com, Apple, Microsoft, Schneider electric, Google, JPMorgan, Facebook and counting.
Pay scale:
A big data analyst can get an initial salary of 4-6 lakhs per annum and if they have more qualifications and work experience then, they can earn a lot.
