B.Tech degrees are awarded by the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), a specialised engineering college headquartered within Lucknow University. DDU GKP does not have an engineering institute.UIET boasts an extraordinarily talented faculty, with many of the instructors holding PhDs and having performed research.The campus of UIET Lucknow is separate from the main institution and boasts first-rate lab facilities and infrastructure. UIET Lucknow has agreements with industry to provide students with practical technical skill training.Graduates at UIET have a proven track record of employment, having found roles in major engineering and IT service companies. There are more job and internship options available to students at UIET because it is situated in Lucknow rather than Gorakhpur.

 Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University are located in Uttar Pradesh and offer a wide range of UG and PG courses across multiple specializations. The University is a state-government university approved by the UGC and the AICTE. The University started its first academic session in August 2013. Whereas, DDU was established in 1957. The UGC recognizes the university and has 350 affiliated colleges and six faculty members comprising 32 departments. NAAC accredits the university with a grade of A+. 

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University is a very old institute and has more experience in the field of education, which exceeds its reputation as a whole.
