Yes, IIT Kanpur also offers an option of a dual degree, i.e., Bachelors-Masters Dual Degree to the students. A student earns both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree at the end of this five-year course. The dual degree programme has three categories:

• Category A: In this case, both degrees are in the same discipline/department. Example: BTech-M Tech.
• Category B: This is a two-discipline/ department programme where the bachelor’s degree is in the parent discipline/ department and the master’s degree is in a different discipline/ department. Thus, three combinations are possible in this category, ex: BTech-M Tech, BTech-MS and BTech-MDes. Students can choose any one of the aforementioned combinations. 
• Category C: In this case, the bachelor’s degree is in the parent discipline/ department and the master’s degree is MBA. Ex: BTech-MBA.

Under the provisions of Parliamentary Act No. 25 of 2009, the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, was founded in 2009. It was given an A+ rating by NAAC for accreditation, and in 2022, NIRF placed it 81st among all universities. At the postgraduate and doctoral levels, the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, offers a total of 89 courses. Additionally, it offers two online certificate courses. Admission to BTech course at RGPV is entirely entrance-based. Candidates who qualify for JEE Main entrance exam are required to apply for DTE MP Counselling process by visiting the official website of DTE MP. Find below the step-wise application process to apply for RGPV BTech degree:

1. Visit the official website of counselling.
2. Select a course and register yourself.
3. Verify your email id or mobile number by entering the OTP received at your email id or mobile number.
4. Login using your email id and password.
5. Fill out the application form by entering the required details.
6. Upload a passport-size photograph and scanned copy of the qualifying exam marksheet.
7.  Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit cards or net banking.

Note: Candidates can also pay the application fee offline via Demand Draft (DD).
