Yes, BEd distance education is valid when done from a recognised university such as IGNOU. A BEd.  degree from IGNOU is valid. BEd programs are one of the many degree options offered by the National Open University IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University). The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), a statutory authority that oversees teacher education in India, has approved the BEd programme offered by IGNOU.

Candidates completing their Distance LLB degree cannot enter a legal profession, as the distance course is not recognised by BCI.
