Delhi University (DU) Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for DU -B.Ed : Candidates with at least 50% either in Bachelors Degree and/or in the Masters Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanities, Bachelors in Engineering or technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible.
All admissions to the B.Ed. programme will be made through a Written Entrance Test of 400 marks. The merit will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the Written Test.

There are 2 modes of admission: Entrance and Merit. Eligibility for entrance mode admission:
Candidate must have completed B.A. (Hons) or B.A. in Economics from any recognised university with 50% aggregate (45% for OBC/ CW/ PWD category and pass percentage for SC &ST category). Or
Candidate must be a B.Com graduate from any recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 55% (49.5% for OBC category, 50% for CW/ PWD category and percentage for SC &ST category). Or
BBS, B.A. BIFA or BBE graduate from any recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 60% (54% for OBC category, 55% for CW/ PWD category and pass % for SC &ST category). Eligibility for Merit mode admission:
Candidate must have completed B.Com (Hons) from University of Delhi with a minimum aggregate of 65% (58.5% for OBC category, 60% for CW/PWD category and pass % for SC &ST category). .
