For last year, the closing rank for BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery was 1027795 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cutoffs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to Dr DY Patil Dental College and Hospital.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 513985 and closing rank was 1027795. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Dr D Y Patil Dental College and Hospital is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Goa Dental College And Hospital, Goa has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 18567. In 2022, it increased to 54265. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 19074 to 75559 for OBC, 94670 to 172795 for SC, 104369 to 354244 for ST, 19409 to 43105 for EWS.
