Yes, there is a degree course in Fashion Designing in Fergusson College, Pune. It offers a B.Voc. (Fashion Technology), a three years undergraduate course. This vocational degree follows NEP-2020 requirements about practical and industry-based skills related to fashion design, textile science, garmentonstructing and fashion business. They have also got a Diploma in Fashion Design.

If you missed appearing for the NID National Institute of Design entrance exam you can appear for it again next year as the exam is typically held once a year there is no limit to the number of times you can attempt the NID DAT as long as you meet eligbility criteria each time

Online Fashion Design courses are relatively cheaper as they cut the tuition fee, accommodation costs, and any other miscellaneous charges. The average course fee of Online Fashion Design programs ranges between INR 900 and goes up to 1.6 Lakh.
Meanwhile, on-campus courses can be expensive, including extra charges such as registration fees, industrial visit fees, workshop charges, and so on.

There are more than 200 government Fashion Design colleges in India, including NIFTs. The course fee structure of these colleges varies depending on the course level they offer, their placement and college rating, etc. NIFTs all over the country are slightly on the expensive side. Meanwhile, colleges such as Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, Visva Bharati University, etc., are highly affordable. The average government Fashion Designing course fees in India ranges between INR 480 and INR 17 Lakh.

For a B.Des degree with a balance of affordability and decent placement considered Amity University multiple location Lovely Professional University or Sharda University these institution generally offer BDes programme with tuition fee in the range of INR 5 to 10 Lacs and have reported average placement packages ranging from INR 4 to 7 Lacs per anum with some higher package also available
