Aspirants who have passed Class 12 in any stream from any recognised board or any School or Board or University examination in India or in foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to Class 12 system can apply for Footwear Design and Development Institute, Patna BDes programme. Aspirants who have passed School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects; or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved three-years full time Diploma after Class 10 offered by Board of Technical Education of any state or Union territory can also apply.

Students who are willing to pursue their career in fashion studiens from Parsons School of Design can submit their application form through the Common Application portal for undergraduate programs along with all the supporting documents and eligiblity condition. However, for the postgraduate programs, students can directly apply through the university portal.
Students with a minimum of 2.0 CGPA in their 12th standard are considered for the undergraduate courses and for the postgraduate applicants are required to meet the minimum bachelor's degree requiremetn in the relevant field along with portfolio and for some of the course work expe

The Fashion Institute of Technology and the Parsons School of Design are well-known and reputed Fashion and Desing institutes offering a wide range of programs and practicall approch to the courses.
The FIT has more indutry connections and focuses on creating impressive and technical outcomes whereas the Parson School of Design emphasis more on the artistic and creative side of the fashion and design industry.

Footwear Design & Development Institute Noida provides a MDes programme with two specialisations: Footwear Design and Footwear Design & Production. Yes, FDDI Noida offers an MDes programme. This programme runs for a duration of two years. Moreover, the mode of education is full-time. Other than this, under this programme, the institute offers two specialisations for students : Footwear Design & Production and Fashion Design. Admission to both courses is done via the ASIT exam.
