The admission criteria for BDes at Dr. DY Patil School of Design is entrance-based. Candidates who are Class 12 pass with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) can apply. The application form can be filled out via the official website. After this, the applicants need to take the DPU AIDAT exam. The applicants with UCEED/NID scores can be given preference by the design school.

Dr. DY Patil School of Design BDes tuition fee for all the specialisations is INR 12 lakh. Additionally, the hostel fee is INR 8 lakh. Students have to pay the first semester fee or admission fee (As per the school) to confirm their seats after final selection. The total fee may include one-time components, such as security deposit.
