Both the courses BID and Bachelors in Designing are completely different from each other as they offer completely different job opportunities.

BID stands for Bachelors of Interior Designing in interior design is a course of four year duration, of undergraduate level that provides the candidates with the necessary skills in the field of interior and space designing, furniture and textile designing.

BA in Fashion Designing at UPRTOU is one of the BA courses offered by the university. The UG-level course is extended over three years. The course duration is divided into six semesters. The evaluation is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The papers included in the subject include various compulsory and elective subjects. Each subject carries certain credits. First of all, to get admission into Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture for B.Des, you need two things. Firstly, you have to pass in XII (Any stream). Secondly, a valid UCEED scores for admission to the B.Des course. Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is a test centre-based examination of 3 hours duration for admission to Bachelor of Design (B. Des.). Cut-off for this exam is around 80 marks.

The last date to apply for FDDI for course admission at Footwear Design and Development Institute, Hyderabad was on 7 May. The online application for FDDI AIST 2024 is now closed. The application form was from October 25, 2023, till May 7, 2024. However, the deadline to pay the fee is July 15, 2024. The counseling fee has to be paid at the time of seat allotment. The fee will has to be paid by candidates who have been alloted seats. 

Note: The allotment of seats will be as per the FDDI AIST 2024 merit rank. If the candidate fails to meet the cut-off criteria, he or she will not be offered admission.

Yes, MBA course is available at Footwear Design and Development Institute. FDDI, Hyderabad offers a two-year MA course divided into four semesters. To be eligible for the award of the degree, candidates shall complete the course in a maximum period of two years from the date of enrolment for the first semester of the course. Candidates must pass graduation to apply for the MBA course.
