MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates belonging to General, GEN-EWS and OBC category must have secured at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale at the qualifying degree level; Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PD category must have secured 55% or- S, 50 CGPA on a 10 point scale. On April 28, 2024, the National Institute of Design (NID) held the Studio Test for the B. Des programme. There was no online version of the Studio Test. It should be noted that, in contrast to M.Des applicants, B. Des candidates are not obliged to attend any interviews. On April 15, 2024, admit cards for the Studio Test became available. The candidate was required to bring their valid photo ID and their admit card to the exam centre on the day of the studio test. The M.Des program's DAT Prelims results were released on February 17 at 4 p.m. Online at admissions.nid.edu, the outcome is available for viewing. Recall that the results of the DAT preliminary exam will be made available to all applicants who take the test. Using their email address and birthdate, candidates can access the DAT Prelims results by logging onto the result portal. A shortlist of candidates for the DAT Mains will be created using the results of the DAT Prelims exam.

When seat assignments and counselling are being given out, the NIFT Delhi 2024 cutoff will be announced. For the PGC and PGC courses that they have offered, the corresponding cutoffs have been divided based on the cadres. For the 18 NIFTs participating in the counselling and seat assignment, the NIFT 2024 score lines will be made available segment-by-segment. For the EWS and OBC-NC Kumpulan, Open, NRI, Open PwD, SC, ST, Dom SC, UR, Dom Open, Dom UR, SC PwD, and ST PwD categories, the reservation cutoff NIFT will be in effect. The UCEED question paper will be of 3 hours and include two parts - The computer-based Part A and the offline-based Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the paper.
Also, Part B paper answer booklets will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A before the declaration of results.
Part A will include the following types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Multiple Select Question (MSQ) Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). Part A will now include 57 questions.

There is only one college in Chennai that offers B.Ftech. The college is the National Institute of Fashion Technology Chennai.
NIFT Chennai offers 4 years of B.FTech. in Apparel Production. There are 43 seats available for the course.
To be eligible for the course a candidate must pass 10+2 with PCM as mandatory subjects. NIFT entrance exam is necessary. Selection will be based on the entrance exam and PI.
Candidate must have a maximum age of 24 years.
The fee for the course is INR 12.34 Lacs for the whole course.

MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi provides a four-year undergraduate course for Bachelor of Design programme. The university offers three specialisations for the programme: BDes in Product Design, BDes in User Experience Design and BDes in Communication Design. The basic eligibility to get admission in Bachelor of Design programme in MIT Academy of Engineering Alandi is scoring a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 or its equivalent in any stream. Interested candidates also need to clear the MAH-B Design CET entrance exam which is conducted by Directorate of Arts, Maharashtra to get admission at MIT School of Design, MITAOE, Pune.
