To get admission to BDes, candidates must have atleast 50% aggregate in Class 12. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, CUET, NIFT Entrance Exam, NID Entrance Exam, UCEED, UPES DAT, and others. Hence, candidates must have relevant scores in the accepted entrance exams. There must be 50% marks in Class 10 as well. The selection will be based on the Portfolio Presentation and Interview round.

BDes is provided in specialisations such as Product Design, Interior and Retail Space Design, Transportation and Mobility Design, User Experience and Interaction Design, Graphics & Communication Design, Animation and VFX, and Game Design. Apply for admission as soon as possible if interested to study any of these specialisations.

The NID Entrance Exam is considered among the toughest design entrance exam conducted in the country. In NID DAT, more weightage is given to subjective, drawing related questions.
Experts and test takers state that the overall difficulty level of the NID DAT 2022 exam was moderately difficult.As per NID DAT 2021 exam analysis, the level of difficulty of the question paper for the BDes course was easy to moderate.
