University of Plymouth offers a placement year which is also called a work-placement in industry. The placement is an integrated part of the degree for many subject areas at the university but it can be optional. The benefits of choosing a placement are given as follows:

The scholarships offered to UG and PG international applicants are given as follows:
· UG International Student Scholarship- This scholarship is offered automatically and based on the eligibility criteria being fulfilled. The scholarship value is EUR 2,000 off on the tuition fees in the first year
· International Academic Scholarship- Students must submit an application to be eligible for this scholarship. The value of this scholarship is 50% off on the tuition fees of the student in the first year for UG and for PG, 50% off the successive year's tuition fee if the student has an overall grade of 70%
