In advertising, art directors work with copywriters on individual projects, often but not always, several at once. The Creative Director is responsible for the whole creative departments' output and must decide which creative work he/she is shown to accept or reject.

Mass Media has a number of courses and domains to specialize. But, you need to focus in Film Making or Production-Direction areas when you do your degrees and trainings. Please see that a normal Bachelor degree won't be able to give you everything of Direction skills. Yes, of this is done from the prime places like FTII or even NSD you get to know what real work is. Do a Bachelor's degree in. Mass Media from a professionally reputed place or a Master degree will surely be needed to master the nuances of Direction through M.Sc. Dear, According to my experience, I always suggest for a job to the students of mass comm after the graduation or Masters or other course. As the film industry is a highly competitive industry, no institute can guarantee placements. Even if an institute promises you placements, do not count on them to get you an opportunity. Do your own research work and rely on your own talent.

Both are good. I think that for becoming a director, more than your qualification, your creativity matters. You should have a good sense of people's emotions, wants, and opinions. You should think out of the box.
As such, in my opinion, a certification course can give you many new opportunities.
Best of luck!

Hello Tushar, If you were domiciled in Tamil Nadu, then CET is not required. Admission is based on the marks obtained in class 12th. But, in almost all other states and engineering colleges, CET is the norm. Perhaps, Amity University is one deemed University that accepts high scorer directly.
