The general eligibility criteria for admission to distance Engineering Diploma colleges in India are mentioned below:

There are about 100+ distance Engineering Diploma courses in India. Of these, 86 colleges are privately owned and 14 colleges are owned by public/government organisations. Students can secure admission after passing Class 12 boards. No, the DPharm course is not available in distance mode at Lucknow University. The DPharm programme at Lucknow University is a regular, full-time two-year Diploma course. It focuses on providing students with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, and basic pharmacology. To get admission to this course students have to meet the eligibility criteria that are explained in the above questions.

No, IGNOU does not offer Web Designing courses. However, you can take admission in other colleges that offer distance web designing courses. Some of these are NIELIT Delhi, Directorate of Distance Education, Alagappa University, Imperial Institute of Management and NIELIT Shillong. You can pursue UG Diploma and Certificate courses here.

RBI Assistant notification does not mention about accepting the degree obtained through distance education. Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC. As per AICTE and UGC confirmed that B Tech Distance is not a valid course. Universities of India are not approved to run such courses in their college academics. The Supreme court ordered that without AICTE approval, no university can run B Tech courses due to many different reasons, including its credibility, recognition, and lack of practical skill development.
