If you want to do MBA in HR as correspondence then opt for NIBM(National Institute Of Business Management).NIBM is globally accredited by IAO (International Accreditation Organization) and it offers 1 year and 2 year MBA programs. For SMU, the Eligibility Criterion is as follows: 'Eligibility: 3 Year Graduation from a recognised university & must qualify in the entrance test conducted by the University'. For more information on admissions, please follow the below link:

Frankly speaking corporate do not consider MBA from distance education program totally equivalent to that done through a regular course. But the big point here the experience part. If you are a fresh candidate without adequate experience then MBA through distance education mode would be termed lesser than that done through regular course.

Hi Swameeka,
Difference between Online and Distance MBA:
- Weekly/Bimonthly classes are conducted for distance MBA candidates. Online programs also have a similar set up. The only difference is that distance programs have real classrooms, whereas online programs have a virtual classroom.- While distance MBA classes are regular classes, online MBA helps one get familiar and comfortable with computers and technology.
- While both the programs can be pursued sitting in nay part of the world, postal delays might cause chaos and unnecessary problems in distance MBA programs, which are avoided in online MBA programs since it's all online.

Hi Anil,
To get into MBA Distance the minimum eligibility requirement for MBAs are:
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
- Diploma holders need to possess three-year work experience to pursue the program
- B-schools select students based on entrance exams that test the analytical, verbal and numerical abilities of students.

If you got at least minimum 2+ years relevant work experience distance MBA will be better and if you don't have work experience MBA from tier 4 colleges will be better.

if you have not enrolled yet, go for inquiry in Symbioses or try IIMT STUDIES. IGNOU is also a great option for distance studies.
