Aspirants need to pass MD/ DNB in relevant subjects from an institution recognised by the National medical Council and Medical Council of India to apply for DM courses. Besides, candidates must also pass NEET SS for admission to DM courses followed by MCC Counselling.

Any doctor having an MD degree is fit to pursue a Doctor of Medicine degree. The academic merit of the students is strictly considered for selection into this DM in Medical.

Candidates can see a general outline of the DM course eligibility below - 

  • MD or DNB in the relevant speciality.
  • National Medical Commission or equivalent authority-approved degree.
  • No specific age limit.
  • A compulsory rotatory internship is mandatory during the MBBS phase.
  • A valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI)/State Medical Council.

The following are the requirements for eligibility to the DM programme in neuroradiology at SCTIMST, Trivandrum:

  1. MD in radiodiagnosis from an Indian university accredited by the National Medical Board (DNB) or the former MCI/National Medical Commission (NMC).
  2. At the time of admission to SCTIMST, the candidate must have applied for and secured registration with Travancore Cochin Medical (TCMC).
