Yes, after finishing Class 10 or 12, students can join DMLT course.

DMLT course is 2 year Diploma where you learn lab work and how to do medical test and checking.

For eligibility, you need to pass Class 10 or same exam from recognised board with Science subject. Mostly you need 50% marks, but it can be little different in some colleges. So better to check the college rule before applying.

No, DMLT course is not same like a degree.

DMLT is diploma level course, usually after Class 12, but degree is higher study that you get after finishing bachelor program.

Both DMLT and degree in lab tech prepare you for lab jobs, but degree give more deep study, theory, research and also more career chance than diploma.

Yes, students with DMLT course can also try to open and run their own lab, but there are some rules and things to follow.

But remember, starting a medical lab need you to follow government rules and standards. You also need to get license and certificate before you can run the lab.
