TJEE 2026 Exam: Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examinations (TBJEE) conducts TJEE exam to select eligible candidates for admissions into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by participating institutes of the state. No other exam scores are accepted and all candidates have to qualify Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) with valid scores. For TJEE, candidates will have to prepare topics from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

TJEE 2026 registration will start soon at tbjee.nic.in. To be registered for the entrance examination, candidates will have to fill and submit the form before TJEE 2026 application form last date. TBJEE is also expected to announce the TJEE 2026 exam date soon. Before TJEE application process, candidates should check official eligibility criteria. To be prepared for entrance exam, they should be familiar with the official TJEE 2026 exam pattern and syllabus. As per official pattern, TJEE exam 2026 will be held as a pen and paper based test. What is TJEE?

TJEE is Tripura Joint Entrance Examination. It is a state level exam conducted for admissions to various professional degree courses. The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination conducts this exam every year. How to Fill TJEE 2026 Application Form?

TJEE 2026 application form is expected to be released soon tbjeeb.nic.in. Before registration, all candidates are advised to check the official TJEE eligibility criteria. The final date to submit online TJEE application form will be announced soon. While filling online application form, candidates will have to fill all required details, upload ther documents, and pay fee. TJEE 2026 application fee has to be paid through net banking, debit card or credit card. Offline applications will not be accepted. After registrations are over, TJEE 2026 correction facility will be open. It is an offline process, and candidates will have to submit a written request along with supporting proof to the board office. However, all details will not be open for corrections.

TJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates have to fulfil all the requirements to appear for the exam, only then their application will be considered valid. The following are eligibility criteria for the TJEE exam:

  • The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Tripura.
  • If not, his/her parents must have been residing in the state of Tripura for not less than 10 years.
  • Candidates who have passed/appeared or are due to appear in the year of Joint Entrance Examination, at the Higher Secondary Examination, conducted by Tripura Board of Secondary Education/Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent board, can appear for the exam.
  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 from Tripura Board of Secondary Education/CBSE/ or any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as main subjects.
  • Students who are born to All India Services Officers in Manipur- Tripura Cadre too can appear for the exam.
  • Also, the children of the employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura can appear for the exam irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.
  • Candidates whose parents are deputed as the Central Government Officer and have served in Tripura continuously for 3 years or more are eligible to appear for the exam only if he/she is appearing/passed the Higher Secondary Examination from an Institution in Tripura.
  • In the case of wards of Ex-Servicemen, either the candidate or his/her parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than 5 years immediately before the date of application for TJEE 2026.
  • Children of serving Defence personnel (Army/Navy/Air Force) hailing from Tripura too are eligible to appear for the exam, provided the children have resided in Tripura for not less than 5 years.

TJEE 2026 Admit Card: How to Download Hall Ticket?

TJEE 2026 admit card release date will be announced soon. Registered candidates will be able to download their TJEE 2026 hall ticket at official website with their registration ID/email ID and password. No. TJEE admit card is released online at tbjee.nic.in for all registered candidates. The authorities will not use any other mode to make the TJEE admit card available to the candidates. It is to be noted that the candidates will not be able to access their TJEE hall ticket by post or email. Candidates will have to download their TJEE admit card and present it at the exam centre.

Q:   There is a mistake in my TJEE admit card. What should I do?
A: 

Candidates should carefully check TJEE admit card for any mistakes. If they find any mistakes, then they should immediately contact the authorities.

Q:   Can I challenge the TJEE answer key?
A: 

Yes. The candidates will be able to challenge the provisional TJEE answer key. In case of any issues, the candidates will have to write the details regarding the challenge, feedback and explanation to the authorities and submit the application through email to tbjeefeedback[at]gmail.com. After the final date, no objections will be accepted. The authorities will not accept objections without the explanation. After all of the objections are checked, the final TJEE answer key will be released.
