I think veterinary is better than BAMS as a vet has to do lots of things, even surgeries and an ayurvedic doctor only plays with medicines. Moreover, the studies of Ayurveda is quite complex as compared to vet and nowadays more and more people prefer keeping pets for relief from depression which has an edge for veterinary doctors.

Kindly set a goal first.
After completing MBBS, you can get around Rs. 30,000-55,000.
After completing MS, you can get a salary package of 1,00,000-3,00,000 rupees per month.
Engineers get around Rs. 25,000-1,50,000.
Your salary will also depend on the turnover of the organisation.

Now, you have completely changed your dream. It is very difficult for you to become a doctor now.
But if you are having biology in class 12th then you can appear for the exams like CPMT, AIPMT, AIIMS, etc.
I would suggest that you should complete your B.Tech first and then think about changing your field.
