Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Architecture provides a number of scholarship schemes for M.Arch students. SC, NT, SBC, and OBC reserved category students can avail government scholarships from the Social Welfare Department of Maharashtra. The DPU Merit Scholarship Scheme could also be provided to meritorious students, although eligibility for M.Arch students should be verified with the college administration.

It takes approval to get into Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Architecture through certain academic and entrance exam conditions. The candidates should have pursued their 10+2 education with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects, obtaining a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). One should also have a valid NATA or JEE Main Paper-II score. The college reserves 20% of the seats for management quota admissions, which is an alternate route for students. The college excels in its infrastructure, qualified faculty members, and a wholesome learning platform. Major programs along with courses offered here include B.Arch and M.Arch. but it is considered moderately expensive beacuse M.Arch is approximately INR 2 Lakh in the college.
