Since, 27% of the total seats are reserved for OBC-NCL Category, so of course, Your category rank will be used in order to offer You a reserved seat, but in the cutoff lists, the CRL Rank is mentioned so that everybody has an idea that upto which rank has been a particular branch offered, to remove any confusion. Otherwise if they mention Your category rank in the list, which is say, 8000, then the candidate who has a CRL Rank of 8000 will have confusion and approach the institute for confirmation. In order to avoid this large scale confusion, they mention the CRL Rank which is different for everyone, but since they have 27% seats re

If you are seriously interested in Design you shouldn't go there because it is not for design it is the worst college one can choose for design. there are students studying there with ranks up to 5,000 based on UCEED because obviously it is it has 80% reservation 80% reservation for Delhi students that makes it worse people who don't even know what design is a studying there so it is probably not a good place if you really want to make a career in design or else you'll just get out of the college with nothing in your hand don't waste your money in life there are better design colleges like MIT ID Pune Srishti Bangalore is Mumbai just c

The simple and short answer is 'No'. You will not get admission in DTU for any engineering branch as your rank is too high. Only top 30000 rank holders can get admission in DTU.

If I wanted to choose ECE, I would have taken DTU. But, both the colleges are equivalent. You priority should be based on your location (if you are in Delhi). Choose the one which is near your residence. If you are from Delhi, you will not (99% sure ;p) get hostel. You will have to take a PG outside the campus. In NSUT, there is more chance of getting a hostel. If you are not from Delhi, you can easily get a hostel in both the colleges. In academic life, both colleges are equal. However, DTU gets a little ahead on the basis of college life, infrastructure, campus, etc. But take your call based on your location.

I am currently studying in the first year, but in the previous year, in a pandemic, a student got placed in KPMG. Few top recruiting companies like Google, KPMG and PepsiCo visit our college to hire students. Most of the students get an internship from the college, but it totally depends upon the interview session.
