Even IT degree is present and placements will be based on Btech (IT) of IIITA and MTech (your specialization) from IIITA. So basically you are expected to have even more skills than the Btech people they take from IIITA also. which in any case you will do.

There is only one difference that is of one year you will get your both degree one year before.
In integrated program you have to attend classes of MBA in last year as an extra subject
If you do separately 4+2 years you have to spend.
Integrated program is very useful if your college or institute is very good.
If your institute is good for B.Tech only then go for some good institute for MBA.

No. Its not a residential course, although hostel facility is available and i recommend you use it. Bus facility is also available. MBA after b.tech is your personal choice. Being a b.tech myself what i think about it, you are widening your opportunities doing PGDM after b.tech but it is hard too if you are looking for a technical job after MBA. And yes dual specialization is available in VJIM.

To be honest any international experience with college has been just namesake. It is advisable to choose amongst top 30 B-Schools in India. If you choose Hyderabad area, ISB is the most premium and you can expect great salary.

I will recommend pure B.Tech over integrated MBA degree. Pure B.Tech gives you an opportunity to do MBA from Tier I B School and have better career opportunities.
