But it creates the problem when all the branches of VIT like Chennai, Bhopal, Amravati are dumped in Vellore for the placements, and you can't say hundred percent placement, but worthy ones will have many opportunities.

No, you can't, when you pursue one course in one college your class 12th mark sheet and other document are to be submitted during admission process. At one time, you can't pursue dual course.
