Canadian universities are very selective and number centric. So, you would require high academic grades. Engineering programs in Canada may be course based or thesis based. Thesis based programs are tough to get into and usually requires a supervisor to first accept you. Scholarships are on merit. I will suggest you to check the university websites for this information and also see if course based or thesis based programs would be suitable.

If you have studied class 12th with PCM, then you are eligible for AMIE. You will be eligible for industrial engineering course, if you have one or two years of industrial experience after your class 12th or degree in any stream.

Both the countries have good prospects for international graduates. You can refer to the SOL of both the countries and decide basis the skill shortages, expenses, climate etc. Australia's living cost is higher than Canada whereas immigration process in Canada is easier. Irrespective of all the factors you should aim for a good or top ranked university and do academically very well to get a job. Both the countries are equally competitive.

Hello Atiq,
Yes, you can but for that you have to ask college administration. Will they allow you or not? Normally there will be no problem because 1st year is almost same in all branches of engineering.

Hello Anil,
B.Tech is all about the technical aspects, MBA teaches a lot about management and administration of business.
For a B.Tech (EEE) student, MBA turns out to be useful if you're planning to start your own business / company. Certain companies also keep it as a mandatory eligibility criteria for promotion or recruitment to senior managerial positions.
Since, you already have a career of over 5+ experience, I would not suggest you to leave your job. Rather, you could opt for correspondence MBA while you continue with your job.
I hope it helps.
