Yes, you can easily change your stream because in all engineering stream 1st and 2nd years are almost same. So directly contact your institution's administration for this.

You need to create your own interest. In my opinion, electrical branch is better than ECE.

AMIE is considered on par with BE / B.Tech and is recognized by GOI for jobs and higher education. It is a good option for those who are unable to get formal engineering education because of personal reasons.

Electrical engineers are eligible to do M.Tech in aeronautical engineering. Electrical engineers can also join aeronautical engineering (Electronics) branch of Indian Air Force. IAF trains its graduate engineers in aeronautical engineers on GOI expenses.

3. HMI.
