If you wish to opt for the BTech Electronics Engineering course, you must pass Class 12 in the PCM subjects with at least 50 to 60% marks. Further, you must appear for and clear relevant BTech Electronics Engg. entrance exams conducted at the national/state/university levels every year for admission to BTech courses in various specializations including Electronics Engineering.

It depends on the college you are planning to take admission to. Every college and university in India have their own set of admission rules that they follow for admitting students to Electronics Engineering courses at various levels. The admission process can take a few weeks to a few months for completion. There are a lot of formalities before you are given the final seat and your admission is confirmed so you must stay calm during the entire process and keep an eye on all important colleges' announcements by checking their websites every day.

For taking admission to Electronics Engineering courses at the IITs, you should be able to meet the eligibility requirements. For UG courses, you should have at least 75% marks in Class 12 in the PCM subjects. If you belong to the reserved category, the marks eligibility requirement is usually relaxed to a certain extent. Also, you have to appear for the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams. You should work very hard and get a good rank in JEE Main to be eligible for JEE Advanced, which serves as the final call for admission.
